Review: Cracks in the Ceiling by Dave Cornford
I really enjoyed this collection of short stories, with storylines that are believable and that you can relate to. The author has come up with characters that you can just connect with.
Each story although having the same ‘theme’ is different and unique. Seeing how people deal with money worries sometimes serious stories and some that make you laugh out loud!! These stories really are brilliant and they are perfect for reading on the go or when you just want a quick relax.
My only complaint is that some of them were ‘short’ stories - there were a few that I thought would of made great full stories and I also felt that I wanted to read more about the characters and storylines but then thats probably just me being greedy!!!

Review: Drive A Hard Bargain by Ian Ashe
Drive a Hard Bargain is the story of a girl at the wheel, a guy in the trunk and the pair of gold-plated handcuffs that brings them together.
Inez Gold is looking for cash. Her neighbour’s friend is willing to pay handsomely for a simple favour. Combine the two elements—along with a luxury coupe, an unpaid debt and thirty thousand dollars negotiated for services rendered—and you’re off on a wild ride blending humour, crime and a pair of gold-plated handcuffs.
It is a 12,600-word short story which is packed full of action! For a short story it has a lot in there!! It is a great little read which has a good storyline, I enjoyed reading about Inez’s quick thinking and humour, it made me laugh a few times, and I just had to feel sorry for Jack Rooney at times. I almost think that it’s a shame that it’s a short story as I would have been able to read more about the characters. It’s hard to write much more without giving too much away about the story. It’s well worth a read though.

Review: The Dollification of Mrs Martz by Tom Raimbault
‘On brisk, autumn morning; Kimberly Martz was abducted in a forest preserve near her home. She was brought to place to be transformed into a life-sized doll, then owned and objectified. Sometimes men like to play naughty games with a doll. In these moments, a doll cannot say, “No!” She must remain silent and play along’
This ebook is a short story, it’s well written and not too short!! Even though it’s a short story it has everything a story should have – a beginning, a (sexy) middle, and an ending (which made me smile!) Well worth a read.
As you may have guessed from the short description above it’s an erotica short story so if you want to check it out you have to be over 18!!

Review: Die Already by Kipp Poe Speicher
I thoroughly enjoyed this short story but I can’t help feeling that this is the starting block for a full length story, I feel that it would be a fantastic book, I almost feel that this is just the idea. I’m left wondering if Kipp would consider making it into a long story?!!
